I find manual focus with this lens pretty hard to get right, i did get some sharper pics but by that time he was pulling faces :P Also i changed to partial metering after this which gave a better result...Hopefully can post better ones to show how nice this lens can be, later in the month.

There is too much focus out there , like that you have to work a little with this one..

@jack4john you should do this challenge with us this month, one camera, one lens , posting jpegs straight out of the camera. ... just saying

I like the half half - dark/light. Don't talk about pulling faces, it's started, all three of them, sigh... :-)

I like this challenge.. using my old Canon for it... like you said to John above "straight out of the camera"... i also try to do em all in b&w... 35mm... fun and hope i can learn something from it :) i like the shot you made...

@overalvandaan oh no! have to catch them unawares, but the camera has to have the right settings before they know whats going on!
