Excellent shot! You've got the eye spot on.. what else could matter? It should be impressed! Wonder if it sees in colour through that eye? Does Kereru mean pigeon or a specific member of that family of birds?
@yrhenwr kererū is the Maori name for the new zealand native wood pigeon, they are big=breasted lumbering birds always lolling about eating, therefore they were an important part of the pre-colonial diet, illegal now to eat them

@kali66 Thanks for that Kali. I like pigeons... amazingly direct and strong in flight. As for the physical description/eating habits, I have known some birds like that! Probably also part of some kind of diet of those in power!(So non-pc... total lack of control ... forgive if you can, please!)
