tsunami warning sign

Thankfully today's tsunami warnings in NZ didnt come to much where i live, but i was woken in the night by the first earthquake even though it occurred over 1000km away!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond it takes a while for the wave to get to you after an earthquake out to sea, but nope i wouldnt want to be caught by one! i feel for all the people who had to get their families up in the middle of the night to get to higher ground.

@farmreporter these signs are permanent at the beaches, a reminder that if you experience an earthquake that is longer than 1 minute or so strong you cant stay on your feet you need to get to higher ground asap
