growing these varieties to save seeds for the seedbank. There was a legendary seedsaver named Henry Harrington who lived in Southland NZ who kept many unique varieties of heirloom vegetables and we try to keep his legacy going. I also have a peony grown from seed he collected at his resthome before he passed away, it is going to flower for the first time this year!
Seed saver exchanges are so wonderful. We call the seeds heirloom seeds, which means the very same thing as heritage seeds. I’m sure your tomatoes will be wonderful, I hope you can have a few and save the rest for their seeds.
@jayholm64@kvphoto@jackies365@brigette fingers crossed they do well and i can save lots of seeds from these special ones. glad i am not the only one so there are backups!
I bet they’ll taste amazing
