well this didn't turnout how i wanted but playing with layers is hard and I've had enough for tonight. This is for the get-pushed challenge. @dapinsker Marc asked me to take the name of the third track of the last album I listened to as inspiration for an image.
I happened to listen to Alela Diane's album- To Be Still, the third track is called Age Old Blue.
Now I love Alela's songs because they have such strong imagery so even though I don't think the challenge was necessarily to illustrate the song, Age Old Blue is a reference to the sea so I wanted to use that along with blue eyes and a gentleman, also mentioned in the lyrics.
@greychick thanks Nicki @dapinsker it worked better in my head, thats the problem i have with starting with a concept rather than just finding something I love the look of. I will be on the lookout for something old and blue then lol
Very nicely done Kali! I agree with Elizabeth @pixelkeeper. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was supposed to be Neptune. I don't know who your male model is, but he suits what we think Neptune might have looked like.
