starling with nest supplies

I spent a happy hour this morning watching the starlings collect stuff for nest building, it was funny all the showoff antics, especially when one brought big long bits of eucalyptus bark and shook them violently about, only to discard them and go off to find something a bit more comfy perhaps. They were wary of entering the roof cavity while I was watching, so I am not sure what made the grade.
