Hoki mai by kali66

Hoki mai

get-pushed this week from Tracey is to do something with architecture. I made a trip to Hokitika today, this is a mash up of three images, I like how the subconscious directs these experiments and I end up with something that says more than I ever thought. Hoki mai means return to me in Maori.

OH and my five plus two selfie is here http://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2014-03-10 our theme this week is Loss, join in with a self-portrait of your own :)

Wow -- this is impressive and cries out for us to study the elements individually and together. Really well done -- looks like an art gallery shot.

Like the comment about subconscious guidance. The arrows made an interesting link in this context. The green eye ignited by the green stone is terrifying.

This is excellent. The combination of images works very well indeed. Inspirational.

@yaorenliu the arrows were painted on the side of a building, perfect. and I agree the figure is fairly menacing :)

I'm intrigued that you have achieved this with just three images. I'd love to see the originals. I really like what you done with the buildings.

@wynne there is a front on shot of St Mary's , a shot looking corner-on to the building with the arrows painted on it opposite the regent, and the figure is a partial shot, taken at random through a shop window on the same street. :)
