i love the clean line of the horizon, fence ......the gentle slope of the land. the simpleness of the image, with the lone tree standing with its own importance against the sky, vertical of he fence posts enhances the vertical of the tree.....and the simple statement of the color enhances it all even more, in a gentle way

My grandparents, aunts and cousins lived in Kansas (some still do), and we frequently visited there where I was a child. This shot reminds me of watching the landscape of farms, fences, and silos from the car window.
