@trailertrash @x1nij I should have explained. After the lambs are born I put them in a jug with mom to bond. After a couple of days if they are doing well I put them in a mixing pen. This is where the mothers and babies learn to find each other in a group setting. The mother identifies her baby by smell and a special call (baa). I paint numbers on the baby and mother so If one gets lost I can help them find each other. This is especially helpful in the field. Thanks for asking.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww (I said this out loud!!) This is so supremely sweet! I love how he is balancing on 3 feet as well :) So very cute! I am just loving all these little lamb shots!! :)

Just when I think your lamb shots can't get any cuter, you manage to top the previous one. She's such a good, patient momma. :-)

At first I thought he was just looking out of the pen, but I see he's eating. They sure start eating early.
