It's a Girl!

So our second foal was born this morning....she is definitely a she! Cute little thing, but by the time I got to the barn, it was getting darker. Will go back later this week for more pics. What are the odds? Her mother is a grey arab as well. :)

@genesis_one @windridge @dh No name! Her dam came in from a farm that did not properly control the studs, so there are a couple of possibilities. Whoever it is, she will be full arab, so they want to do DNA testing before she is given her formal name. I would imagine a barn name will be chosen before next weekend.

@padlock Not sure...she was a complete surprise. Depending on what the DNA test says....once they know who her sire is....legal issues.....her dam is just a pasture ornament for now....so no idea what will happen with this little girl. :)

Lovely shot and what a beautiful filly! As for the colour, she might surprise you and turn grey as well when she gets older, especially if the sire is also a grey.
