The fields were opened to the horses today, but IMHO, they aren't ready. The grass has barely grown enough and in no time at all, they will have trampled the new growth. But the owner won't provide any more hay. Time to look for a new, more responsible boarding stable....
This is a lovely scene with the sunlight shining on their backs. I'm sorry things are not going well at the stables. It can be stressful I know. We would love to buy some land for ourselves but it is so expensive round here.
