Was out at Qualicum Beach today to watch the annual Polar Bear swim....saw these two young ravens sitting on a branch....this became my first picture of the year :)
and a great one! fabulous for day 1, 2014! they look so affectionate in this picture! and that annual polar bear swim sound very intriguing as well! i'd love to see some photos of THAT! ha~
@teodw Thanks Terrie....I did get shots of the polar bear swim, but on the west coast, it is a lot less dramatic than in central Canada where they have to cut a hole in the ice and the windchill makes it -40 C....
@teodw Google the polar bear swim in Ottawa, Ontario. It was near -40 and you can see where they have cut the ice. That is where I moved from...now I am on the balmy west coast :)
