Don't know what these are

My mom has these in her garden. I asked her what kind of flowers they are, and she said she doesn't know. I don't know either, but I like them. This is the second or third year she's had them in the same spot.

Yes that's what they are ,we had heaps of them until Ross decided it was time for a change.

I call them pinks they are like a mini carnation but not as complex petals they are usually beautifully marked too. These have very frilly petals perhaps a variation?
