My dad's Christmas cactus has come into bloom again -- it seems to bloom about every eleven months. If I remember correctly it was blooming around Thanksgiving last year. He waters it periodically, keeps it in a sunny south-facing window, and gets rewarded with Christmas cactus flowers (well, right before Halloween anyway)! He has another smaller one that is just starting to have buds, so I will get a picture of that one too as it comes into bloom.
ps: I'm going to date this for yesterday because I might still get a good picture for today.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
