I was in downtown Chicago today (4/10/12) for an appointment and took my camera with me. This is the Monadnock Building in Chicago, right next door to the Union League Club. North half by Burnham and Root (1891) / south half by Holabird and Roche (1893). It's been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1970. This is the north facade on Jackson Street.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
