Preparing for the NATO summit

The building where I work is right across Clark Street from Federal Plaza, a complex of three office buildings and a post office branch. For the past few days, vehicles from the Department of Homeland Security have been parked like this on the streets surrounding the complex. Part of the preparations for the delegates from all over the world coming for the meetings.

There were some demonstrations during the week - I think - so the security was necessary.

My friends that work downtown were told to purposely dress down so they would not be targeted by the protestors.
