My dad has this plant outside for the summer. It's a Columnea (member of the Gesneria family- distant relative of African violets and gloxinia). It's in a basket and has these orange flowers that really do look like dancing dolphins! Or goldfish, or sharks. This is a close up of the orange flowers. You can see the neighbors' pool (where the ducks were) through the fence.
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
