St James Farm iron work

I went back to St. James Farm today (October 23) to take another look around. It is really a fascinating and beautiful place. The farm was owned by the McCormick family (of International Harvester) who were horseback riding enthusiasts. The last surviving family member to live on the property (Brooks McCormick) transferred it to DuPage County in 2000. The farm originally adjoined Brooks' cousin Robert McCormick's estate, Cantigny and combined, they had about 1,000 acres for riding and enjoying the outdoors. This is some intricate work in the stone fence near the stables.

@taffy If you ever get the chance, please go visit St James Farm and take some pictures! I'd love to see your images of the buildings and grounds!
