I got to visit Columbus, Indiana today. These flowers were in the garden of the mansion built by Joseph Irwin, who was a banker. It was built in 1864 and expanded in 1910, and is now a bed and breakfast inn. It has a gorgeous garden that's open to the public on Sunday afternoons. This is looking from the east side of the garden across the center pool. It was a quiet, tranquil and beautiful place to spend some time on a late summer Sunday.

October 2014- finally reached 365 photographs and it...
