Mouse and mouse

The orange mousie is a cat toy that was a gift from a dear friend. (My cat went to the Rainbow Bridge this past June but I've kept some of her favorite toys.) This is my desk at work, where I have a combination mouse pad / wrist rest.

@nanalisarocks I have thought a LOT about a new kitty friend. I'm holding off for now because I need to do some work inside my place, and I would rather not bring a new kitty home till that's done.

Didn't know you don't have your Cassie anymore :-( I'm sorry for your loss. Peppito left us in March and we got Max in August. We did not think for long because a good friend of us had kittens and knew how to convince us. And also for the kids, we thought it would be a good opportunity to have a young kitty that would grow with them and won't be scared. Max is a wonderful kitty, and the girls love him! We also try to mention Peppito when we can, so far Miss V remembers him very well, I don't know how it will be with time. Max doesn't replace Peppito, but it helps having him ;-)
