January at St James farm

On Tuesday (January 6) I stopped at St. James Farm Forest Preserve on my way to work, because it was such a bright sunny day. I only stayed a few minutes to see how it looked. St. James Farm was owned by the McCormick family of International Harvester and was transferred to DuPage County, Illinois in 2000. The McCormick family were horse enthusiasts. This is the indoor riding ring. In summer they host educational events and riding demonstrations for families.
