There is a row of flags, one for each of the Dutch provinces. They're very pretty together with the gardens and sky. (These are sooc and I used Picmonkey to make the collage.)
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(
October 2014- finally reached 365 photographs and it...
In the left-hand picture you can see the signs close to the bottom of the flag poles, with the name of each province. The guide told us the signs might have to be moved a little higher on the poles, because the shrubs are getting taller and blocking the names - whoops!
This sure was a lovely day - when it is really cold outside, blowing and snowing in Chicago I'll think of the sunny day and this beautiful park up in Michigan.
@pyrrhula I saw these photos Elyse and was going to tell Ferry to have a look at them, but I see he's been by! Doesn't August seem like yesterday?! How is it possible it's October already?!
