Looking across, not up

I meant this for the looking up theme even though I was looking at it from almost the same level. The building is the Inn of Chicago. This is from the window at work, I went in the conference room to check the weather. I just like the details of the building.

Edited to add: I looked on the hotel Web site, it opened in 1928 as the St. Clair Hotel. (St. Clair is the name of the street it's located on.)

Quite a building! I like the intricate decorations at the top where people on the ground wouldn't see them very well!

@alia_801 The building has had a construction scaffold around the first floor for weeks, so you can only see the decorations if you look from the other side of the street.
