Bright lilies

I saw these at the supermarket and the bright color caught my attention. The tag says they are Asiatic lilies. Behind the lilies is a flat of hostas- which are popular around here. They grow wide and full, you split them and end up with twice as many hostas growing wide and full!

Good news for today- the Morton Arboretum is planning a partial reopening June first. They will have timed entry, like they do in December. The restaurant and gift shop can’t reopen yet. But the Arboretum is very beautiful in spring and I’m glad they can offer as much as they’re planning.
