My dad's orchid is coming into bloom again

It came into bloom right before Christmas, such a treat to see!

Beautiful. your Dad must know a lot about flowers. btw we are taking our hibiscus tree in and out now for 7 years. as for orchids, I love them, they bloom but once they finish blooming, I keep them and give them three ice cubes once a week under the leaves, but I can't get them to bloom again. any advice would be appreciated. thank you!
