Teacup

I had wanted to get an election related photo today but wasn't able to get what I wanted. I hope everyone voted!!

I spent today grading exams. While icky, it is still better than having to take the exam. :) Also, my day didn't start off as badly as yesterday!
As for exams, it is always better to give than to receive!

Sometimes the shot just isn't there. Grading is much better than taking, boring but better. Good enough for the theme, violets are certainly a shade of purple. Nice shot!

I voted by mail last week, but I voted. Nice pic...lovely color. I have to agree that grading would be much better than taking, and sometimes there are funny answers to break up the boredom.

@clarissajohal Yeah? Did you have a lot of students cheat or plagiarize when you graded? I usually enjoy grading. Students write the funniest things on tests!

@weshook There was no paucity of funny answers!! One student wrote that the democratic party was the responsible party because they pay for her health insurance and another wrote the republicans were because they've messed up our economy.

@robv I was hoping to get a picture of the "I Voted" stickers that students usually put on the door of the professor who encourages students not to vote since voting is irrational.

Thanks everybody for your comments

Nice cup.

@kerristephens Oh yes--they always failed to realize that an English major has pretty much read everything they could copy, lol.

@clarissajohal Failed to realize or just didn't care? Some of the other grad students require their students to submit them to turnitin (an online database that cross references their papers with other sources) and still are shocked when they get caught.
