I like how you showed a police car with this sign. Quite appropriate and meaningful! Wish we had this sign in my city. So many people leave even their purses out in the open in their cars (of course, unlocked cars). I hear the police reports and say, "Duh!"
Many layers of signs here, stop sign, police emblem, crosswalk, signs on the sign post, fire hydrant painted red, curbs painted red, double yellow lines on the road, sign letters on the building. Whew, theme tag it!!! Great find and capture.
Perfect capture! My mother leaves her purse in view in the car all the time. She doesn't really leave anything of value in it but still, that's not going to keep the car window from getting broken! Drives me nuts, especially when it's in my car.
I think you could have thieves standing on the sidewalks with signs reading, "As soon as you leave I am going to rob you blind..." people would still leave their car unlocked. Some just do not think.
This would be a great photo for teaching visual literacy. I love the fact that you got the police car in your capture. And of course the beauty of the scenery is not to be ignored. All in all, a wonderful picture for the theme.
