I love Ruby's! And, our family has the funniest story from Huntington Beach pier from the time my 3 year old dragged his 1 1/2 year old cousin down the pier to keep him from going over the edge. You'd have thought the two mothers would have intervened but we were too busy laughing. Thanks for the memories.
My sister-in-law and family lived in Huntington beach for a number of years. We visited them at Spring Break several times and enjoyed it thoroughly. Loved the beach itself. I also remember buying huge juicy strawberries from a roadside stand not far from their house, My b-in-l made shortcake and we gorged on strawberry shortcake and whipped cream. Great memory.

I'm not much of a beach person, mainly because I'm not really comfortable in the water (or a bathing suit); I have plans to rememdy the first some day--can't do much about the second, but resign myself to accepting my body as is. :o)
