@jasonbarnette This was the display I stayed at the longest so probably 10 - 20 minutes listening to Christmas music and trying to capture the water lights. However, I probably spent two hours at the Winterhaven Festival of Lights.
@kerristephens Since I lost both my DSLR's I don't have the motivation to go see any light displays this year. I was supposed to be spending these two weeks shooting all the Christmas decorations. Blah.
@jasonbarnette You don't need a DSLR to enjoy the Christmas displays. I really enjoyed just looking at some of them. Although, I would have been upset if I didn't have my DSLR for this display.
@kerristephens See! That's it exactly! I would be enjoying all the displays until I found a really, really awesome one and then I'd have been all bummed cause I don't have a camera. That's alright. I'm barely in the Christmas mood this year anyways.
@kerristephens It used to be my favorite holiday. I would enjoy the reason for the season, go see plays and Christmas displays, spend time with family and friends and loved ones. This year I barely have any friends left, no family to speak of, no loved ones, so it's just me. I don't think you can get into the spirit solo.
@jasonbarnette Enjoy the friends you have. Maybe see if you have any friends that want to go see lights with you or go to a local church to see a Christmas play?
That puts our lights to shame. we only have 6 spot lightsilluminating our home from the street..Love the looks of this house..like sheets of colored water coming down..
But the colors shooting up in front of the house are stunning. What were those??
