I like this one better! One thing about photography that I learned a while ago was that if you have people in your photograph and you get a shot of their profile have more open space in front of the direction they are facing. I guess it works for caterpillars too!
Great capture. I like yesterday's composition better due to the yellow flowers in the background. In addtion, there is dynamic tension (those leaf lines that lead our eyese to the caterpillar).
Although I like the bokeh in yesterday's shot, I prefer the composition of this one a little bit better. For some reason I feel this one puts the Swallowtail more in the center of the shot. In the other, the bokeh fights for attention with the caterpillar.
