Do you like this composition better or yesterday's composition?

Looking at them both, I think yesterday's one has wonderful colour in the bokeh as well as the wee caterpillar!

Great capture, Kerri and I do like this composition better. I like how more of the plant is shown in this one. They both are good, though.

this is awesome, but I liked yesterdays composition better... I think the fewer leaves brings your attention more to the little guy!

I like this one better! One thing about photography that I learned a while ago was that if you have people in your photograph and you get a shot of their profile have more open space in front of the direction they are facing. I guess it works for caterpillars too!

Agree with Therese, prefer the previous one, where the swallowtail is more the centre of attention! The plant perhaps rather dominates here.

Great capture. I like yesterday's composition better due to the yellow flowers in the background. In addtion, there is dynamic tension (those leaf lines that lead our eyese to the caterpillar).

Although I like the bokeh in yesterday's shot, I prefer the composition of this one a little bit better. For some reason I feel this one puts the Swallowtail more in the center of the shot. In the other, the bokeh fights for attention with the caterpillar.

I agree re yesterday's being the winner. Bokeh is lovely and not so much distraction as here
