Interesting pic - looks like there are holes. Words seem like you are in a bit of a vortex too? Nothing wrong with thinkin'. Thanks for the cool bench shot!
@annied Wow! Thanks, Annie! And for the follow! Am blushin a bit and promise I will shower before next post, wanna look pretty now that yur followin ;)
I can't think of anyone else whose photos consistently beg me to look again...and then read once more...before leaving a comment. These "nameless people of the park bench" are everywhere in our midst. Cynically, I see some as charlatans, but you can recognize the real thing when you see it and I respond to that. I pity most, the homeless I don't see, as they don't live in this warm climate, the only saving grace in some lives...
@Weezilou Thank you for taking so much of your time, Louise, really! I was touched today by 3 different folks of the Invisible and those experiences stuck with me. I did not have them in mind when I took this shot. They will be in my mind more often, I'm sure.
Kevin this rings bells on so many levels, homelessness, peace, deep thought, quiet contemplation. The words are just right for the photo, again. Well done and keep them coming.
This is a powerful image as are the words that go with it. I had taken a few images of the homeless in Chicago and did end up posting one -- it's important to recognize that having a safe place is not a given for far too many.
Wind from the north and the sky aches with gray
Weather wisdom comes with age is not for me to say
(The air as still as forests, the sky as my soul is blue
Somewhere is a river where the berries grow for you)
