Boy Scout Crossover Ceremony this evening. Cub Scouts cross over a small bridge with their sponsors, parents or otherwise and the "old" Boy Scouts (including my Bud, Jack, on the left) remove their appulettes and scarf from the Cubs and put on their Boy Scout scarf, et al together. The boys are overwhelmed by the camaraderie right away. It is a great experience to watch. This a boy led troop for a reason. Some things never change, and I am grateful. Likely the same in Rockwell's time and so, the processing :)
so nice to see that you captured the support these young men give each other...a very worthwhile venture for them. Of course the processing adds to the feeling!
mates are important
