Send out a search party
When I do not return
With rations for days
And oil to burn
For they n'ere will find me
In my usual place
For I followed a lady
With a sidearm and lace
Watch the sun setting
As the searchers depart
And wish them God speed
Cause I followed my heart
And the waves come a crashin
And hours become days
Cause I followed my Darlin'
With foul mouth and Grace
And when they return
And have failed in their quest
Welcome them home
Cause they all done their best
You see, searchin for me
Ain't a path you can trace
Cause I followed my soul
And have reckoned my place
@vignouse Thank you, SIr. I was trying to make a picture a painting, with words and simple editing tools. Rough as it may appear, it compliments the words as I intended and so I am happy :)
How allegorical, the boat making a sweeping turn and heading in another direction... You've never had to spell it out, but more often than not, I can completely follow your story... very happy for you two...
