Palmer's House

Neighbor, Palmer Hurd, long since passed, built this house with his bare hands, in his fifties. Then proceeded to build a lumber mill in his backyard, in his sixties that he ran from a desk chair that he fashioned onto some railroad tracks and, lastly, replaced the roof, in his seventies after taking it off of a barn that was being torn down, cause it "still had some life". He passed, in his plow truck, just down the road a piece after plowing my drive. I miss him still but, boy, he filled me with memories in a short span of time. A true man who appreciated the life that he had. Thanks, Palmer.
A beautiful cabin! Love the processing of this image.Sounds like the man who built it made an impression on you.No one is truly gone that is remembered.

@sunraye Thanks, Raye!! That's just a brief overview of the man. He took my son (he called "boy " for rides on his backhoe and accepted plow payments in the form of pies! I appreciate your input very much :)
