Freight Train by kgolab

Freight Train

I was looking for something to photograph when I noticed this train backing into place at the local Transport Hub. There were other carriages left abandoned on another track and I tried to capture this in the photograph.

This is not the usual thing I would consider photographing. However, my promise to myself is that during my 365 journey I would look outside my usual comfort zone and take risks.

I welcome everyone's feedback and critique.

I also thank everyone in advance for your support, comments, feedback and favs. It is truly appreciated. I am loving this community!
The widht of this train seems much more than the ones we have here. It is an impressive photo.

@jacqbb Thanks for the fabulous comment Jacqueline. The angle of the train must be what makes it look quite wide as I believe that the Tasmanian railway (which is only for freight in this state) run on a network of narrow gauge track of 1,067 mm (3 ft 6 in) - But I could be wrong!

I like how you composed this. Interesting foreground and then the eye moves to the interesting background. Nice!

@kgolab Yes you are right! Tassie is 1067mm narrow gauge (3' 6") the same as Qld
