Occoquan Bay by khawbecker

Occoquan Bay

These intriguingly colorful houses face Occoquan Bay, which is along the Potomac River. The only access to these houses is a private road from inside the Leesylvania State Park. The waterway behind the houses and the train trestle is the Julie J. Metz Wetlands Bank.
I love this. Reminds me of the colours of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia near to where I live. Nice capture.

@lynnekovan Thanks, Lynne. It's so interesting to hear that this reminds you of a place in Nova Scotia. It's a small world.

@davydo Thanks, Dave! One must look high and low for a flash of colors these days. Today I went with high--climbed up the bluff on a snowy pathway to view these houses.
