I collect books about Abraham Lincoln. I now have four shelves of Lincoln books. And yet, my books represent less than 1% of the more than 16,000 books written about Lincoln.
GREAT man and a great capture of your extensive book collection! I knew there were a lot of books about the man and events of that time but WOW, I had no idea just how many! I was always interested in the Civil War era as a kid and still am....I have O'Reilly's "Killing Lincoln" but confess I haven't read it yet...soon! :)
@bluemoon I think you'll find the O'Reilly book interesting. I give it a mixed review because he gets some facts wrong, like referring to the oval office when there was no oval office in Lincoln's day. He used as his office the room they now refer to as the Lincoln bedroom. The book reads like a novel though.
