Interior Symbols

Former Secretary of the Interior Harold Ickes is known to have been heavily involved in the design of the Main Interior building, which was built under his watch and dedicated in April 1936. The building design included details like the arrows pictured here in this staircase railing found in the Interior Library.
Very elaborate composition. Interesting POV.
