Red Cross

The American Red Cross National Headquarters, pictured here, was completed in 1917. It serves in part as a memorial to the women who served in the Civil War. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965. The Washington Monument is in the background.
Great selective color and processing. I have a friend very active in Red Cross...she would love this image...as do I !

@taffy Thanks, Taffy. I took the same photo in color and laughed to see that it didn't add much color. And I thought this was more dramatic. I enjoy playing with selective color.
