Carter's Pond

This is one of my favorite reading spots at Prince William Forest Park.
Great reflection. Such a lovely scene. The reflection is misleading...makes it look as though those bare trees are the ones that are greening up. Love this!

Such lovely reflections! @eyesmile And Gena's comment made me look again. Wow - her observation is so cool. It's like a foreshadowing of things to come. When I was a kid I always read outside. I still do sometimes. There is so much pleasure in doing it.

Gorgeous colors, composition & reflections! I can see why this is one of your favorite spots....this looks like the definition of tranquility. I'd love to stop and sit awhile and just take in the view!

I can see why. Beautiful greens cape that you captured expertly with color, reflections, and POV. I can only imagine it in Spring and summer!

Wonderful. You captured the peacefulness with the reflections in the water.

What a gorgeous place, I think I'd love to sit and read there too. Lovely scene and nice reflections.

@eyesmile Thanks, Gena! I thought it was fascinating that the sky was more blue and the plants more green in the pond's reflection.

@lauriehiggins Thanks, Laurie. I like your description of a foreshadowing. Reading outdoors is a luxury, isn't it.
