The three buildings pictured here make up the main complex of the Organization of American States (or in D.C. parlance, the OAS). First formed in 1948, the OAS is an organization of 35 independent republics in the Americas. The small building on the left is called the Casita. It is the oldest building in the neighborhood and was originally a carriage house for a mansion that was torn down long ago. The building in the middle is the main OAS building and the one on the right, behind the statue called "Equestrian of Simón Bolívar," is the Art Museum of the Americas. To the right, but not visible, is the OAS Administration building.
@bluemoon Thanks, Paula! I hope to keep the reflections coming, once the fountains are running again and the reflecting pools are filled with water. :) Did you get snow there today?
