Snow Laden Carter's Pond by khawbecker

Snow Laden Carter's Pond

Our St. Patrick's Day snowstorm brought the heaviest snowfall to our region for this date since 1888. As soon as Prince William Forest Park reopened today, I was fortunate enough to take photos of the undisturbed snowy scenes. Although it appears to be in black and white, this is full color.

For another view of this pond today, see this photo: http://365project.org/khawbecker/past-and-presen/2014-03-15

@bluemoon Thanks, Paula! It was so peaceful in the forest today. It was even closed at first, so I hiked in. I'm certain I was the only one in there for awhile.
