Photo 79
Northern Cardinal
Taking a picture while pretending not to take a picture is apparently the only way to coax the birds in my neighborhood to stay long enough for a portrait. My hat's off to the wildlife photographers on this site. Happy First Day of Spring!

This is wonderful -- the sharpness of its eye is impressive and the red against the context makes for a beautiful shot.

Thanks, Otter. Without digital, I'd burn through film trying to capture a decent wildlife photo. Yeah for the age of digital photography!
