Warm Up Act

The miniature daffodils are in full bloom in Washington, D.C. These are a precursor to the big show--the cherry blossoms. Anticipation is in the air.

Well HELLO SUNSHINE! Looks like Spring has definitely sprung in DC! Such beautiful crisp color & detail on these daffodils!

I visited DC for the Cherry Blossom festival for marching band when I was in high school way back in the 70's...oh what a sight that was! I hope you're able to post lots of pictures of them this year.

@bluemoon Spring has started to kick it here! We've got the specter of another snowstorm on the horizon for Tuesday, but it won't have any lasting effect. The Park Service has forecast peak bloom of the cherry blossoms for the second week of April. I plan to capture as much of it as possible. I'm glad you got to see it!
