The pilot banked to the left toward Dulles airport, giving me a good view of the Virginia countryside below. The setting sun highlighted the topography. It's good to land after a flight across the country. I processed this photo quite heavily--using an HDR processor. I heightened the contrast and increased the saturation to deepen the color and shadows.
A fav -- your processing gives this a wonderfully surreal quality, which is exactly as it should be at the end of a vacation, returning home. Wonderful use of lighting and contrast!
