Two is company?

This fat Kereru (NZ native wood pigeon) and his companion - (a finch by any other name) on lookout in the silver birch tree this morning. Kind of cute companionship I thought.

What an unlikely pair! The Kereru looks like he is the body guard for the little guy! Nice shot :)
