It's the end of an era. Leicester and I are now both officially retired. We had our last boating safari out on Sunday. It's been an amazing 15 years sharing the magic of the Marlborough Sounds with so many people in our little boats. One of the little signs says "If you were waiting for a sign - this is it" We are now looking forward to the next adventure, wherever that may take us.
congratulations on your retirement...i was going to add 'now you can go have fun' but i think it must have been fun doing what you were doing...enjoy yourselves whatever you do... :o)
@maree_sanderson Thanks Maree - We actually spent most of today sorting out our travel itinerary from mid-June to October. The best part will be working out 'where to go and what to do' details once the 'when to go and return' air travel tickets are booked. Off to confirm and pay for them tomorrow. Of course I have to consider photo opportunities too :)
@julzmaioro It is usually a beautiful spot but after the last two days of storms, and high winds, the beach is littered with driftwood, trees, seaweed and muddy waters.
