This beach was always a very special place for our family. We spent many summer days here when our children were young - As a young mother I used to carry the tired little children back along the beach after a magic day in the sun, sand, sea and foam. Often I would have one child in the backpack, another on the hip and the third child would help carry the sack of flounders. Today's stroll was much easier. Happy Mother's day to all the dedicated mothers out there.
