Three Quails

There was a very large family of Californian quail foraging across my lawn. This trio stopped to pose whilst the others kept running. They remind me of the 'roadrunner' when they run so fast from the camera.

@dawnee @maree_sanderson @olivetreeann @hop2it As usual I took many images - I liked this the best despite the green blur caused by a leaf as I was standing quite still so they wouldn't get frightened.
