We had a fascinating day at Dover Castle today. We explored the World War II tunnels under and within the white cliffs then climbed at least 120 steps up the great tower to visit Henry II living quarters. Great to see such a comparison between the centuries-old history and the more recent history this castle has played such an strategically important role in.
